My Public Enemy No. 1

Your day in court has come & gone.
Although you’ve tampered with the body of evidence
neatly stacked against you, look who’s sorry now.
No sway with the jury, verdict signed-sealed-delivered;
despite your desperate plea, there can be no reprieve.
No exceptions can save you now; it’s time you must pay-up.
The Reaper has come to collect, justice will be served.
And I’ll be the executioner, with a twinkle in my eye,
holding the answer & the key to set me free.
